What? I have the air con on.
Just moved into a house and it's first time we've ever had proper heating with a therm, and every day I've got back from work it's been on 28!!!!! It's like a fucking oven and I hate being hot!
'But your daughter was cold' she'll say, as my daughters playing in just a vest top around the house I think to myself I can't wait to pay this bill at the end of the month
I sure dino was fine.I've seen sheepdogs lying outside their quality kennels (as befits working dogs) in snowdrifts with a look of ecstasy and their tongues hanging out panting.28°C is a bit hot for anyone I'd guess, unless they're ill or elderly.
When I was a wee bairn my mam used to leave us outside in the pram - including in the snow in winter - with the dog lying guard next to us to give us fresh air. Didn't do us any harm and probably toughened us up. Don't know whether the poor dog enjoyed lying in the snow though. (((dino)))

You've probably heard this but I spent a lot of time as a youngster around and about the MacKenzie country, home of legendary folk hero (sheep stealer) James MacKenzie and his dog Friday. There are a huge number of tales and myths about them but the one I heard as a kid was MacKenzie would send out Friday and then bugger off down the pub on a Saturday night meanwhile Friday would steal a flock of sheep and drive them way up backcountry, the farmers who lost sheep knew he was up to something but as he was in the pub all night couldn't pin it on him, although he was caught later.Pic is the statue to working dogs at Tekapo (though it's universally known as MacKenzies dog).He was a very fluffy collie so you're probably right. From proper farming stock too.
Shorts and t-shirt here too. Windows wide open and perfectly warm in Hertfordshire. Still doing the 7am travel to work in a shirt. Phone app suggesting 18° outsideStill got the bleeding window open. Not shut it since May. Shorts & t-shirt. Well toastie.
I have started to wear a hoody on my stroll to work but it is normally off before the first mile. Its been a cracking summer weatherwise. But I've started to wear a fleece for my early morning cycle commutes Kings Cross to Hackney.

Just wearing a shirt is boiling after walking for ten minutes - how do you not die of sweat loss riding a bike in a fleece in this heat?
As an aside, its easy to spot the southerners round here as they're all wearing coats and jumpers. FFS.
Its a light fleece. but fuck you there has been a cold nip in the air.
I did put the heating on a few nights ago, just unbearable being persecuted by the cat for warmth. Today and most of the recent days, 17 degrees outside, no jumper, shorts and socks. Cornwall.
It's boiling here. Windows open and I'm only wearing my shorts.
It's still 20°C here - daytime summer temperatureRub deep heat on the cat - problem solved.
Its bizarre that anyone feels cold - it's still excessively hot.
