There is a rumour that the heating is coming on tomorrow. Not a day too soon, imo. I have chilblains on my hands that are making it painful to bend my fingers.

ETR non funny and cringeworthy post.

Been pretty warm up here, chilly early mornings and evenings but springlike during most of the day, warm at the moment, duvet hoyed off, radiant cat heat more than sufficient.

Our cats love my renegade, authority-defying, heating related behaviour :D

Sadly only very occasional ..... and tbf only for about an hour or so is needed, as like for you coley, its still quite mild here. Juts that I'm a total softie when it comes to cold, or even just chilly.

The BAN will be considered for lifting after November 1st. That'll be the official date. Possibly! ;) :p

The image of my cold hands make you think about me fisting myself? I'd say it was more than bad taste. It makes you look fucking odd mate. You might want to keep that kind of thing to yourself in the future.
Aye,your probably right, just a daft connection between a couple of earlier posts on different threads, apologies for any offence.

Had the heating on for a bit but turned it off when we got the oven going for the roast. Been under the duvet (freshly washed cover and everything) all day.

It's 15°C in here. I'm not feeling it as I've been doing the washing up while wearing thermal socks (and tshirt and trousers).

It turns out my desire to put on long trousers and get out the fan heater may have been precipitated by a return visit of the 3 day lurgy I had the week before last. :(

I have been feeling a bit meh for the past 2 days and last night about 6pm I put on the heating and about 7.30pm lit the log burner and kept the heating which is far from usual. I then lay down by the fire and a pile of wood and listened to R6 till gone 11pm. The warmth and the music was truly uplifting. Today it's back on as it's cold and I have done loads of washing and this is the only way to dry it now. It has felt good moving from room to room and it's warm. I'm contemplating a bath as I still don't feel right.

I came close to putting it on this morning, but felt that 18C isn't cold enough to justify it. (I did have it on in the car last night though) Last night it fell to 12 and it felt almost too cold to move. We went to bed to keep warm. I really hate cold weather and am dreading the winter coming. I can't begin to think how I'll cope back in Scotland at Christmas, I was cold there in August. Maybe I'm just too used to warmth now.

I've just given in. Spent yesterday in bed feeling really ill. Shitting and spewing blood today, so the need for heat is mighty real. I don't usually give in but I need to dry the washing too. Gawd I'm turning nesh.

Haven't even started looking for the longjohns yet, it's a long way until the hearing comes on!

Suddenly got cold yesterday but I'm resisting the urge to put the heating on. Gives me a chance to wear some of the warm clothes I bought last winter but never got the chance to wear then!

and there's always the duvet! Mind you, I'm virtually shivering in the office today. :(

Yes, and I'm rapidly finding out that it's not up to the job. The boiler is being serviced tomorrow, which since they're going to replace a bust thermostat switch may mean I can get a bit more oomph out of it, but even so it won't be as cosy as in my old house. The radiators are just too small. Most of them are single-panel, though, so shouldn't be too big or costly a job to replace them with double panels.

Heating has been on twice a day this week as the temperature has dropped, and even with it on it was quite cold when I got in so the fan heater is on too. Been sleeping wearing tracky bottoms, socks and a t-shirt, so at least that's lovely and cosy.

On the other hand, the office is like a bloody oven.

Had the heating on today and had a sleep on the couch under duvet, it was bloody bliss. Fella has turned it off and gone in the shed cos it's too hot in the house. He let out all the lovely heat when he opened up the french doors and I'm bloody cold now.

Not feeling the cold in Bristol at the moment - perhaps it's the rain ... but the temp is on the way up ...

Or I may be slightly feverish.

I had far too much stodge for tea though. :(

Cold yesterday had the log burner on most of the day warmed up during the afternoon so it was stotting upstairs when we went to bed, only downside of the logburner being you have to manually adjust the rads

Heating gone on just now - i am under a duvet with a hot water bottle, a cat and a cup of tea and still chilly :(

E2a: and my gas prepayment meter has just informed me it's now a credit meter - i have no idea how or why

We've had a letter about our rebate too. I keep forgetting to go to the post office to claim it.

I'm wavering over the heating, it's a bit chilly in the bathroom. Mr s is very disappointed in me. ;)
