Brown's speech

Legislate obligation on spending 0.7% of national income on foreign aid....you fucking what?

The BNP just grabbed more votes

Early diagnosis....I can hear some NHS people coughing furiously.

And he's going to CURE CANCER.

Constituency power of recall for corruption and proven wrongdoing...

No, give constituents FULL POWER of recall :D

Where someone has been corrupt, constituents will be able to recall their MPs. Not send them to prison, mind.

A referendum on PR will appear, now that it looks like they will get battered in an election. Also hereditary peers will be kicked out of the Lords, but those Lords who took the piss on expenses wont.

Dave is going to fucking obliterate with his conference speech, as long as they don't let the speechwriter at the sniff and free booze :D

He wont, he will take his tie off, stroll about the stage and go on about how the private sector can do more to help us blah blah compassion blah

Yeah, but it'll murderate this one. I watch all the big three leaders speeches every year (cos i'm a sad nomates) and last year, with the potential election looming - Dave's speech was almost a call to arms, and then Brown bottled it.

I was fuming though, that they used 'You Can Get It If You Really Want' as the music he finished to.... and I reckon due to the motif, it would have been their election tagline

And now for the timed ovation.

An awful speech, filled with outright fabrications and one or two deeply worrying new policies.

Was a good speech fromthe view point of any Labour supporter.

The rest of the country might be a bit "er, hang on, what about x, y and z"

M People? Moving On Up? REALLY? Even their media guys are bloody laughing.

Towards the end of the battle he mentioned searching for something inside themselves (vis a vis battle), and only then did I start to consider the closing record, and I thought surely no one would dare use M People even in this day and age?!
