Breaking Glass Hazel O'Connor, Phil Daniels

ding dong the witch is dead
Any one any idea as to how I can obtain a video/dvd of this film?
Not on video not on dvd not listed by HMV.
Searched far and wide via carboots ,charity shops , junk shops etc with no luck.
Apparently available on ebay but asking stupid prices for region 2 dvd's $60 on one sellers list.
Help please.

On play.com it's listed for £9.99.

Not a terribly good film, but one I like to re-visit every so often to remind myself of a time when I thought it was good. Still like the soundtrack though.

It got slated at the time did'nt it? I loved it used to be a big Hazel O Connor fan:)

D-Days was the song in the teen discos in Dorchester in the 1980s. Every night a scrum of punks and skins, and ashocked DJ desperately trying to stop the disco equipment being rocked over by the rhythm of stomping docs.

Free on youtube. A film of its time & dated but still worth a watch if you used to go to the Rainbow or were familiar with that part of north London. Was reminded of this from the power cut thread. ;)

If I'm ever asked what the first single I ever bought was, I'm quite proud that I can say 'Ashes to Ashes' by David Bowie.

I bought 'Eighth Day' at the same time. I'm less vocal about this.

Did you complete the trinity with Do they Know it's Christmas?

thanks for posting that, it was exactly what I needed.

I'm in that film! After a Tom Robinson / 9 inch nails gig at the Music Machine in Camden we were asked if we wanted to stay on for filming - free bar and £10 each if we stayed. We stayed. Brief glimpse of me in the Eighth Day footage.

Excuse my ignorance. I assume you don't mean the band nine inch nails (Reznor was 14) some other Tom Robinson related NIN?

Never heard of this before, but just watched it tonight, so thanks for the indirect recommendation! I've never heard of Hazel O'Connor either, think all that sort of stuff predates me by half a decade or so.
