Angular... Bit edgey. Making me think of Twin Peakes red Room carpet. Whilst not a fan it doesn't upset me. Theres a good reason it's not ubiquitous like the flatline stripes of horizontal mundanity.

But the Breton is a victim of its own success. I feel it used to have a bit of an edge, and that has gone.

although as you all know by now I love a Breton-type top or seven, I don't think they've been 'edgy' since probably at least the Fifties (and I wasn't even thought of then!).
