I don't describe anyone's age in a name I always use numbers  'My colleague is Lisa years old?' Doesn't work! :p

you never mentioned ages. You just referred to your colleagues, 34 and 51 (or whatever the numbers were, on a phone and can't be arsed checking back :p

They can afford to pay their executive massive wages, they buy up prime business properties, if they are making a loss it's because they are greedy and their business model is flawed...My point is about what they actually pay suppliers for food.

Tesco's recent woes seems like a microcosm of the whole capitalist model. Their business plan required constant expansion, but there's a limited market for stuff because there's a finite number of people with a finite amount of money. It seems like someone at head office thought that if they kept opening more stores indefinitely then takings and market share would continue to grow indefinitely, but obviously that stops working when you get to the point where you can throw a rock from any branch of Tesco and hit another one. They must have reached a point where they were competing with themselves, and there's no way to win in that situation.

They'll restructure and regroup of course, and meanwhile the shops and pubs that used to occupy the sites they're now closing will stay gone :(

Right I'm leaving Urban forever, this is clearly a case of PC gone mad! MAD I TELL YOU!

(anyone got any cheap food?)

How about a humorous reference to a bygone, even fictional era in which eccentric individualists hit the road, wandering from town to town seeking bargains for sustenance - a tramps' buffet if you will.
Or those tattoos above the arse cheeks which have been affectionately nicknamed tramp stamps.
