Any BD veterans know if they have lock-ups? Nothing on the website to say there will be. Looking forward to my first trip to Escot but would love to know I've got half a chance of ending the weekend without losing my house keys/bank card/Oyster/life in the usual drink and drugs-fuelled misadventures.

I don't recall there being any from previous years mate. I use something like this
Keep it safe for wallet, key's, phone etc and haven't lost stuff since using it . Physically attaching stuff stuff to me is the only way I still have it the next day!

Actually it's a bit more like this Wallet, keys, phone carpets etc

Bargain version £7.99 inc !st class delivery  So cheep I got a new one :D

Cheap as fuck - Lifeventure Mini Belt Pack

Go ON!

Do you know anyone who can drive a van? :D

Badgers you can borrow one of our rucksacks if you can be bothered to pick it up from Tottenham.

Cheers Stiggy, will call you on that one if the need arises.

Only 5 sleeps now :)

I've got one you can borrow. :)

Sweet news mate :)

I assumed we had one (have lent it out loads and stuff) but turns out wifey borrowed it from her sister and her sister is going to V Festival so have to return it. Will give you a shout and pop over at some point or perhaps see you in the park with a bottle of Dragon Stout?

Cheers Onket.

Bloody sister! Has never used the bloody rucksack in the 6 years since she bought it. I have used it about six times a year since then. It should automatically be mine now I think.

Anyway, on a good note, yes Badges, the weather is definitely picking up apart from a bit of rain at night. That we can cope with!
Just want to be able to lie out on the grass in the sun, with a cider and good music wafting over me (possibly a bit of a snooze too ).

:D

So far have not booked tickets for this despite doing the last few. Not because I don't want to go but just financially unable to plan that far in advance.

Just had the latest email though and a few old favourites on the bill:

No mention of Hobo Jones & The Junkyard Dogs but if I was a betting man......

:D

Anyone going along this year?

Dreadzone. again.

won't somebody shoot them please?

quite, i mean jesus - surely even people who like them don't need to see them at EVERY fucking festival. they'll have been at 4 out of 5 festies i'm doing this year.

That's bad enough as it is, but they're shit now as well

I don't think I have actually ever seen them.
Always end up thinking "never mind, they will be at the next one".

Alabama 3

they've done about 1 festival this year and only a couple last year, they're not nearly on the same scale of ubiquity as Dreadzone.

a friend, who knows of my love of reggae, came back from some festival and excitedly announced to me that he understands why i think reggae is 'so great!' after seeing and hearing Dreadzone.....

AAAAARRRRRRRGGGGGGHHHH!!! :(

they are a crime against reggae and should be shot. (ok, not shot, perhaps just incapacitated)

outside now.

and not for rumpy pumpy.

Alabama 3 are GOOD, and are great showmen/woman. Dreadzone are total shit, end of.

I've never seen or heard them be good, however I have seen them be so far up their own & each other's arses it's hilarious.

When do I get the rumpy pumpy?

Brixton band regularly plays in Brixton shock

and actually, they rarely play in Brixton - they run a Brixton night but don't always play it

exactly, they do their accoustic stuff in Brixton/South London all the time but rarely play as a proper live band. if they did, i'd be up there in a shot.
