Beautiful and Iconic Football Strips

Clapton CFC away shirt.

[Can someone please share the pic for me, can't do it on my phone, thanks muchly.]

"Designed to commemorate the 80th anniversary of the end of the Spanish Civil War, our away kit is inspired by the flag of the Spanish Republic and is adorned with the three-pointed star of the International Brigades, who travelled to Spain attempting to hold back the fascist tide.

Across the back of the neck you will find their immortal words - NO PASARÁN.

Produced by Italian kit manufacturer Rage Sport, with material sourced from companies which pay their workers properly and fairly."

somebody find this please... I need to see it

I always like a good pop music/football cross over. So when the Super Furries sponsored Cardiff City, that was joyous

I'm just not particularly a fan of anything with a massive corporate logo on it. Especially when it's something not very sexy, like 'Brother' purveyors of fax machines and typewriters.

Even that kappa branding down the arms is gash.

honesty being the best policy.

Malcolm Alison wanted us to wear red and black to have us looking more like Milano

And the very best, 56 FA Cup final shirt. All 3 - no branding, and sporting the Manchester coat-of-arms (slave ship included)

the arm branding, on that shirt, is far better than what Adidas have been doing to kits for years. That shirt was a fucking revelation. Shame we went down to Div 3 in it, selling out every away ground we visited.

Ships on shirts? Plymouth Argyle from the 60s/70s. The Mayflower is the ship, the pilgrims sailed on it to Massachusetts.

I had a thing about their strip because they were one of the few teams who played in green when I was a kid. But when I looked for it I found this. Which is quite nice.
