I really wish they'd sort out news-free edits on catchup. It's such a pain having to skip through outdated news bulletins days or even weeks after the original show aired. I've no problem with hearing news when it's live but I can't believe anyone wants to hear old headlines unless listening on a slight delay.

I suggest any show older than 24 hours gets a news-free option. Who's with me?

I agree. I don't know what the rules are on repeats and content, or if there's some archane reason why the programmes must be available in full. I would prefer a version without the bulletins.
