BBC presenter Huw Edwards suspended over paying for sexual pics.

Another bbc presenter in trouble for pictures and bullying - this time sending unsolicited nude pics (not of himself, but of a potential guest) to his colleagues

The guest was Stephen Bear, a Celebrity Big Brother winner wanted by Nolan for his TV show. “I want Bear!” Nolan wrote in one message, saying in another: “If I don’t get Bear tomorrow night, I’m sending more Bear photos.”

One recipient of the images, which showed Bear’s penis, said they were “beyond the pale” in an internal complaint to the BBC, according to the Irish News.
What the absolute fuck??!

I once worked at a place where a top exec was asking for a golden handshake. He was being greedy. Then some emails came in, from his wife's email address to him and his teams. Of him wearing really bad womens sexwear with a dildo up his arris. And some other 4 some stuff which was really the stuff of nightmares. Imagine if the teams on bullseye had an orgy.
But yeah I think he resigned and dropped his haggling. :D

I was asked to do the forensics on the issue.

Were they actually from his wife or did go, umm, deeper?

His wife didn't send it - it came from a webmail login. She was cc'd as well. It went much deeper. Not people you want to piss off when we are talking 25million dollar kickbacks to make sure the right firm gets the contract.
I've been involved with multiple instances where the suspect of large scale theft offed themself on aprehension. :hmm:

Apparently he’s the fifth highest paid BBC presenter yet I’ve never heard of him. I’m guessing he must present The One Show or summat

WTF!!....I listened to him once when tuning through the shit thats on the radio at 3 oclock in the morning and really only needed that one listen to work out what a bigoted 3rd rate Cunt pretending to be devil's advocate he is, how the fuck is he worth paying more than the minimum wage?

To play devil's advocate for a minute, I guess if he was obsessively torrenting loads of adult content it would be entirely possible to download a number of archives of images without being aware of what they were, and perhaps never even opening them

Again not to defend him but I think they way they say download can be misleading as well. Viewing a galley of pictures downlands all the thumbnails. Even of you don't open any of them you still download them.

I don’t know who he is, and I don’t know how torrenting works, but that sounds reasonable. Were it not for the fact that the article ends by saying:

Speaking after the sentencing, Holly Triggs, operations manager at the National Crime Agency, said: "Tom Binns deliberately collected a huge number of indecent images of children.”

That hardly proves anything either way.

This topic makes me really uncomfortable, because once you start pointing out that it could actually be perfectly possible to download/upload large amounts of child porn without being aware if you were torrenting, and that there are plenty of past cases where men have been treated pretty badly by the system trawling for easy cases (including retrospective prosecutions of material that wasn't illegal at the time) you sound like some kind of awful nonce defender.

Obviously we'll never know if what he's saying in his defence is plausible or not but there is at least a chance of it.

I'm sure it's possible but it seems very unlikely. Even dodgy torrent sites don't want that kind of thing going round and the attention it would bring, I think it would get flagged very quickly.
