Bands that have had merciless merch

I remember a couple of bands (can't remember who) selling their logos on face masks during the pandemic.

Talk about opportunistic wankerism!

They've got Trooper on tap in the Castle Hotel (and presumably any other Robinsons pub but that's the one I know best). It's quite nice. I thought it was relatively common, but I suppose it might get rarer the further you live from the brewery. Anyway, gets the hitmouse "pretty decent beer even if you have no particularly strong opinions about Iron Maiden" seal of approval.

Bob Vylan too

It may be vegan and coeliac friendly, but it’s grapefruit based. Which I love but which interacts with several of my meds.

I just looked up the sauce makers who made the Xiu Xiu "More Hot Than Sad" hot sauce, which is sadly out of stock, and learned they also make a "Hot Wobbly" hot sauce as a fundraiser for the Chicago IWW:

I was not expecting that twist. Also not sure I've ever seen a sweet potato-based hot sauce, come to think of it.

Just been reminded that now that weed's increasingly legal in the US, rappers (and presumably other musicians too) can do their own branded weed:

Snoop Dogg is in on it too, you may or may not be surprised to learn.
