There was always a pot of tea on the go at mealtimes in our house when I was a kid. I always have tea with food - it is the right thing to do.

Ah, I thought it was an espresso machine. I first encountered one of those pod things on Eurostar. A guard had to show me how to use it. I was totally stumped. Lovely coffee, though.

My dad drinks tea with every meal. For me it's usually water, now I don't smoke but are used to have a cup of tea and fag after a meal. I don't have any silly objections to squash.

I'm with you on that. Coffee is great. I'm a real addict. I drink espresso. Many per day. But if I'm thirsty, or if I've had an injury, it has to be tea.

Also with a chip supper. Fish & chips goes with tea. Anything else and you're a bit wrong, and not to be trusted.

I would only ever have tea with a hot meal if it was a fry up in a caff. Don't usually drink owt with fish n chips but occasionally will have a dandelion and burdock if I'm in Leeds. Cuts through the fat. Yum.

Some in the coffee business argue it makes a more reliable, outstanding cup than even expensive barista-quality machines.

I have an aeropress. Never had a bad cup with it.

Pressure's the key to good coffee, I think. The water can't just drain through the grains using gravity. It has to be pushed through as hard as it can.

It can be an Expresso machine if you want (with the pods). It can even make tea. All without a kettle.

I'm with OU, water when parched. I do drink cordials etc from time to time, but mostly find them a bit crap and pointless. I like drinks made with actual fruit, but also rarely drink them - faff.

Dandelion and Burdock is a drink from the gods. Think of it like Dr Pepper but for people with taste.
