A thank you to Brexiteers.

I wonder if the weird urge by some people to denigrate anyone expressing their desire to rejoin the EU arises from the fact that they’re secretly feeling more of a cunt with every single passing day that has elapsed since the 2016 referendum, and it’s starting to affect them.
If they were i doubt they will be now after reading that ^^^^^^ pile of bitter frothed up wank. Years of leave voters being labelled thick and racist is okay but when the boot is on the other foot you have the fucking cheek to moan about people being insulted whilst at the same time you brand people cunts

Apparently - according to someone I know who went - the counter protestors against the rejoin march had various placards: pro poppy / Union Jack (lest we forget banners), anti ULEZ, anti vaccine and had some sort of view on Julian Assange too.

Strongest feelings were about ULEZ which I suppose is tangible

Why? Next to fuck all has happened really. The capitalist system still grinds on.

Always amusing when the brexit faithful put up Guardian article quotes that confirm their bias; there’s always another that makes the decision look less than wise 😂

Brexit actually was feared to be an epidemic. And it has not been,” he said. “It has been a vaccine. No one wants to follow the British leaving the European Union.“
I see it different... pour encourage les autres central to their thinking during this.

But tis done.
Going to be a hard decade for UK, for EU, for the world. But we are in a different boat and we did nt sink theirs leaving.

Organisers say they're going to keep the Rejoin march as an annual event - a lot of Brexiteers would probably prefer it was monthly, I haven't seen them so delighted by anything else since the referendum :D

Also lives in Lanzarote, an area that was allowed to cherry-pick which EU regulations it adopted and chose not to be aligned with customs and VAT.

Tbf Britain did attempt to negotiate similar arrangements for the last like 40 years and indeed it was a central plank of both Cameron and the Beleavers

There was an anti UN banner too amongst the counter protestors.

It doesn’t arise from that at all. It’s not a weird urge either. You denigrate the biggest democratic excercise ever held as you didn’t like the result.

Participation-wise however, it was the most insignificant, marginal, poorly attended, and wholly misleading democratic exercise ever held outside of a Russia-occupied Ukrainian region.
