In an extraordinary admission of the failures of immigration policy since the UK left the EU, former Tory environment secretary George Eustice said Rishi Sunak’s government should begin bilateral negotiations with EU nations immediately, with a view to offering young Europeans under 35 the right to two- year visas to work in this country.

Eustice, who was secretary of state for the environment, food and rural affairs under Boris Johnson, said the deals should be reciprocal so that young UK citizens under 35 would be able to live and work for two years in the same EU member states with which deals were struck. This, he said, would be part of a much-needed “post-Brexit reconciliation” with our European neighbours.

tbf getting more Turks in to the UK was a key reason why people voted leave, Johnson said that Turkey would join the EU and Turks would be able to freely enter the UK, savvy voters knew that as Johnson had said it it was a lie, so they voted leave to get the Turks in

already said a hundred times but foreign workers screwed through this, have lost out on native rights previously enjoyed and are paid less by law?

Wtf indeed. the Home Office will still deduct from their asylum payments which are only £45 p/w in any case.

And at the same time all foreigners will need to pay over a grand every year to have the right to access the NHS whilst here in great britian.

"Our" NHS - and it's not "theirs" too because "they" pay over a grand a year to use it (in addition to the tax/NI they pay that also funds it for all of us)
