2016 Final Portugal v France

I believe a new rule should be introduced in footie. Every 5 minutes of a goaless draw means we throw another ball onto the pitch until someone scores.

At this rate, we would have 13 balls on the pitch right now.

Finals of big tournaments always seem to be like this.... Stalemate type affairs.... Semis are always the best matches

Already disproved that upthread, admittedly by using opinion as fact but there you are. International finals are usually good and sometimes amazing matches

Still, this is pretty standard... Of course if England were playing there's be panic, goals (against us), hoofing it up in desperation etc ;)

Really like Rio as a commentator, lots of insight.

Shearer and the other cunts calling it a shit tournament...fuck off.

Iceland were entertaining too... I enjoyed the Poland games also... Italys penalties were crazy

Yeah definitely - I like watching football so I have enjoyed the tournament. That said there haven't been too many classic games IMO. In the Wales Belgium game both teams were properly going for it and it could have gone either way, with a couple of really good goals chucked in...would have been good to see a few more of those.
