Yes and no. Yes, he expects the rest of the team to play for him, but in this case, that is the best thing for the team to do - they're in the semis after all. He takes responsibility - England could have done with someone like him.

It pretty much ended the match and it went to penalties. Kicking England out of the competition. Cementing Ronaldos position as the most hated man in uk football
