There was a pitch invasion, it did kick off, then police, then army, teargas the stands, mayhem.

Police being police and Indonesia being Indonesia. By which I mean over-selling tickets, crowding out the ground. Java has the same population as Russia. There's a lot of people on a relatively small island (for that population) and health and safety isn't even an afterthought in a country that sells petrol in bottles by the roadside.
