Worst Christmas Day TV ever?

We do now and then, and so does my GF, whose in her thirties, so it's not an old person thing.

I'm not sure what you mean about via cable. Getting it via cable doesn't mean it's not live TV.
I think it means the exact opposite...
 
We have just watched "Good Liar" on the iPlayer. Drama with Helen Mirren &Ian McKellan. It wasn't bad.
LecMans '66 is on film 4 shortly. It details the fight between Ford N Ferrari. Great film.
Also now watching the marvellous Sue Black in the Royal Institution lectures.
 
It does seem with everything on demand these days there is less emphasis on the 'Christmas Day' schedule.

Back in the day I remember getting the TV guide a good while in advance and circling the entire day's viewing/listening and preempting what would be taped on video for the entire Christmas week into New Year.
