Worst Bus Station in the World Ever?

Have to say that Granada bus station is possibly the grubbiest, seediest, most unpleasant pit I have ever had the misfortune to kill time in.


I'm a bit bored in Madrid. Madrid has to many bus stations.

Birmingham New Street beats West Croydon, but nothing comes close to the utter seediness of Granada.

Milton Keynes Coach way more specifically. No (or very few)public transport links to get to the wretched place. Convenient for bus drivers and noone else. Generally quite grim. However I heard its temporarily at the bottom of Campbell Park

Aye it is, they're rebuilding the one at J14.

But the bus station itself, down by the Train station is soooo shit.

That's a very good point. I mean Digbeth.

It was early. I haven't slept all night. Night bus to Madrid from Granada. I always have a good excuse

The nicest bus stop has to be the one in Westcott village in Surrey, which has a thatched roof and a thatched dovecott to go with it.

Atlanta Bus Station : It has to be experienced. Especially at 2.30 am while knowing your bus won't appear until 3.30 am.

Yes I had to kip the night there, very unplesant, although Manchester Cholton Street was a shit tip unless they have done it up recently

When I was a kid I loved brutalist architecture.

Nowadays, in my unromantic middle age, I think it may have been a conspiracy by companies that sell pressure washers.

I'll put in a third vote for Digbeth.

Lyon bus station is rather nice but it's the only nice one I can think of.

Luton bus station.

Horrible place, they put ultraviolet lights in the loos so people couldn't find viens to inject. It smells of piss 24/7 and has no nice features at all. (appart from it possibly gets you out of Luton )

It looks as though someone has cleaned up the pee stains I noticed last time I was there ... has it had a makeover?

The orange lighting hasn't changed though, I see.
