I had a text (purportedly) from Evri.
Given that I've just had a four-day palaver with Royal Mail saying that they've attempted delivery on two days when I was sitting at home all day waiting in for the delivery (of a friend's parcel) that never came, I wondered if my friend had also arranged for something else to be delivered that was coming via Evri.
I didn't have any other parcels outstanding, or I might've thought the Evri parcel was mine.
I clicked through, it all looked convincing, none of the usual bad spelling that usually gives fraudsters away. It asked for full name, fine, date of birth, which I thought was a bit odd, not so fine, my Spidey senses were tingling...
...then it asked for a payment of £0.79 to reschedule the delivery, at which point I figured it was a scam and closed the window.
Lots of people will fall for that, because it's a relatively low amount, and they'll think it's a reasonable amount if they missed a delivery.
But like you said, it's the bank/card details they're after.
