Will my electric blanket actually arrive today ?
(I live in Bristol which must be 30 miles away)
I think I'd better experiment today with powering the "feet" section of the old blanket from 12 volts...

I woke up chilly last night, had to put a second duvet on the bed, nice and toasty after that.
I did OK too - though I was wearing 4 tee shirts, heavy cotton shirt, towelling robe, scarf, hat, 10 tog and 15 tog duvets ... :hmm:

.. plus last night was actually not so bad ... Friday / Saturday looks like being the cold one ...

Yep got heating on every day at the moment. It's chilly currently!

Also in PJs with 2 duvets on the bed. Nice and snug

Toasty 16 degrees here in my room. No heating on, fuelled-up from breakfast.
Only my bare toes are cold... I need to overcome my resistance to slippers ...

I may give the fridge a bit of a rest - or at least ease up on the thermostat.
I mostly keep veggies in it and it's a bit hairy sometimes chopping up frozen carrots and mushrooms...

The heating isn't working in the office at the moment and I'm currently going in twice a week. Bloody freezing today, despite wearing several layers, two woolly scarves and a pair of gloves - which made typing interesting.

It wasn't quite as cold here last night as earlier in the week but it still hasn't climbed as far as 5°C yet.

The heating was on earlier but with the sun shining it's decided it can have a break now.

I just impulse-bought a body-warmer in Aldi for £15 - I may yet be able to linger in the park ... and it may well mean I use my fan heater a fair bit less :)

-1C this morning in the car. I have an electric heater on and the blinds down which reduces the heat loss a bit. In a bit I will turn my bed on, love that toasty on both top and bottom that it can do..
