Could not sleep and masterdarkone is back later to day after being away for 3 weeks so I decided to tidy up and post on here!

Being haslsled by cat

Cat food

Post in Drag Thread
Sulking (presently)

6-7 Drive to work

7-8 Working, thinking about food and wishing I done some shopping at weekend so I'd at least had a banana as I usually would.

Sleeping while my neighbour did the milking and fed all the animals like a ninja so that when I woke up it was all done for me

feeling like shit, getting to work without being sick, sending some texts, eating toast, wondering if I can leave early

laughing at someone :hmm: posting the moon on a stick on my facebook :D:D

feeling a bit meh and groggy after a very disturbed (and disturbing - what WERE those dream all about??) night's sleep.

getting a bit panicky over what to do about going back to work.

Coming over all felicity kendall, picking veg, cooking veg, preparing veg for the freezer, feeding my beautiful gran daughter who was veering wildly between looking the spit of me and then looking like yoda.

looking for my housekeys - they are somewhere in the flat but fuck knows where.
if i can't find them, i won't be able to leave the house til my flatmate returns from keighley in the late evening tomorrow. i wlll be starving by then.

Can't you just leave your door unlocked while you pop to the shop?

I do it all the time. Especially if the kids are playing out and I need to pop out. That way they can come in to get a drink or something if they need to. :)

To properly shut my door you need to pull it really hard - you can kind of wedge it shut without the lock engaging. The shop is literally downstairs and over the road too. I've stopped now though in case my kitten escapes :hmm:

if it was just my posessions at risk, i would do it, but my flatmate wouldn't be very happy with me if we got burgled cos i left the door open. we wouldn't get insurance paid out, so would have to fork out to compensate him

Oh I see. :(

Could you call someone to fetch you some shopping then?

But if it's shut surely no one will know it's not locked?

Have you got one of those doors with a handle? IIRC most doors round here are flat and the yale clicks as soon as you shut it (does that makes sense?) so to not get locked out you'd have to leave your door OPEN open.

I get you. :)

There is a yale lock on my front door but you can click it up so the door doesn't lock iyswim. I open it as soon as I get up and it stays unlocked till I go to bed unless I go out for a length of time, or if all the kids are coming with me. Otherwise I'm forever getting up to open the door to people cos it's like Piccadilly Circus in this house. People I know just knock and walk in. People who knock and wait for an answer are most likely to be selling stuff. :D

Oh, that's OK, Pip, evil burglars would be very unlikely to nick books that I've lent you. btw, if you've still got my old hallstand, I think I might want it after all.
