comng back from a bit of a mammoth shopping trip with my best mate, and a couple of her friends who i'd not met before. one was ok, the other kept making snide and racist comments 
thinking about doing some tidying, and setting up my new shiny tv 
. must resist urge to suscribe for sky hd , but have been glancing at website.
need to do a bit more tidying,then off to eating disorder group for a weigh in day then having a girls night in, where the plan is pjs, face packs, chocolate, crisps, fizzy pop and a smidgen of wine for some of us. with a healthy dose of moaning about men, moaning about our kids, chatting about weddings and babies, and being generally very gender sterotypical

Doing a lot less than I should be. A bit of tidying & sorting then high drama when my mini hoover went on fire..
Had a moment of blind panic as the flames were getting bigger and bigger. It's now smashed to pieces outside and I have ordered a new funky yellow one. It was very scary.

playing on the interweb, taking on call phonecalls from work, arguing with nightstaff who want to give a student medication to help him sleep when he doesnt really need it. its the school holidays ffs! if someone wants to stay awake, is happy enough entertaining himself in his room and isnt causing any problems, whats the harm? compromised with them, if he still awake at 1am, i'll go in and try to get him to settle as i'm a more familiar face

ugh. getting up, putting a pizza in the oven to try and mitigate a horrendous hangover, waving my friend off home, probably going via the pub.
lying in the garden listening to the cricket, texting updates to mates (see yesterday), but with the added bonus that we actually seem to be making a game of it and an innings defeat may well still be on the cards but it's not going to be quite as humilating as it looked about 6pm last night.
also searching vainly for some painkillers to try to kill off a double whammy of hangover and the most crushing period pain i've had in years. all i could find were soluble aspirin. i had six
