What you been doing for the last two hours? (pt4)

I just half-choked on a turnip, reading the urgent updates from blossom goodchild whilst simultaneously making dinner :D (and browsin teh internetz, obviously )

i've been tidying up. ShiftyJunior was 'doing crafts' today and there are bits of cardboard, paper and screwed up balls of selotape all over the place
as i was tidying i saw one of his many many notebooks with a nice picture of what seems to be a horse. aww i said and flicked through and then i see that he has been monitoring the household's behaviour. How telling that he and the cat always get a smiley face whereas I get the unimpressed face. I did make it onto the smiley column a few times though, once i even got two stars
but the best bit of that notebook is that there are two pages where he has written 'i have a buz lightyear' :D bless him.
he also did a great picture of a boy and a cat, i'm assuming he is the boy and our cat is the cat. how lovely.

i have been doing laundry, and general tidying up. and a little bit of vomiting as i have a cold, i coughed and sneezed at the same time, then made myself gag and throw up  . i have also been pootling on facebook, trying to find a few more friends ( i iz unpopularz :() and looking at, then ignoring some paperwork i brought home from work which needs doing by thur afternoon, as i have a 7-3 shift tmw and a split shift thur ( both starting at 6.45 am , bleugh ) all of which is working with students or "houswork" time. will have to do it tmw eve i suppose :(

the 2 hours before that i was on child protection/safeguarding on call, and was getting very stupid and pointless queries and referals eg: other person" x has a cut on his leg", me " did you ask him were he got it?" , op " yes, he said he got it in p.e today" , me"what did he do in p.e today? " op " he went rock climbing", me " did anyone see him fall or did he tell anyone at the time?", op " yes, he told his tutor who cleaned it up and wrote it in the pe accident book",me" so why are you calling me for???!" * bangs head on wall*

edit: while i was typing that, i recieved 2 more cp calls, from people who obviously dont know how to read a sodding rota  but now i have to deal with them

I've been drinking coffee with friends, taking one home, going shopping, sorting laundry and developing a sort of cold. :hmm:

feeling like crap :(

went to sleep arounnd 10.30 last night and woke up 30mins ago (7am) and feel (and look) knackered :( I have a sore throat, huge bags under my eyes and feel lousy

so I'm feeling sorry for myself, and have been since I woke up. I can't get back to sleep (tried) and don't want to get up

bah fucking humbug

conference starts at 11 so at least I'm not in a rush

Eating some shite served up at the works canteen. Having a meeting and trying to get my head into gear to clear the work I've got.

Bought a cooker in John Lewis, comes with £100 of Le Creuset stuff. Proper autumn food will be ours again.

buying bread rolls and eating soup that now keeps on repeating on me

looking for a new winter coat on t'internet

talking about christmas presents with my sister

clock watching :hmm:

Bought a small (£30) cyclone vacuum in Aldi - didn't realise how small the collecting vessel would be :(. Definitely aimed at the already-clean and tidy.

Eating roast chicken and stuffing sandwich. Or attempting to. I'm too nervous about going to the hairdresser.

meph, took me fucking ages to write this what with the keys all floating around!!
think i even got the grammar right, meph oh yes

((((((((((((((((moomoo)))))))))))))))))))))

playing pandemic 2 and wiping out mankind :) and waiting for mr feyr to get home from his shift in the pub, so that i will actually get to see him this week! he is working 2 jobs and i'm taking as much overtime (not all voluntary) i can fitting around childcare. tis a nightmare!

feeding the baby, eating breakfast and reading - all in bed, mmmm snuggly. then wrangling the baby into his sling and making more tea. i should perhaps be taking advantage of his sleepfulness to do lots of useful stuff around the house. but i'm not going to :)

:) reading and napping are the only useful things to do in that situation

Drinking tea, making notes from one book and proofreading another - and kicking myself for spending too much time fannying about on the internet when I've so much work to do. :hmm:

Driving to Brum...about a 35 mile round trip to sort out my visa for India, then shopping at Asda, a visit to a Indian sweet shop to buy saag paneer, samosas and pakora for weekend in Yorkshire. Then it was home for lunch and a rest before I go to work.

Sitting in the car waiting for my son to get back to school from a footy tournament. Not too bad this time, they were only an hour late. Rushing to fetch little one from trampolining, finishing up dinner, eating dinner and trying to find a small person willing to make me a coffee. :hmm:

Awake since 6 and playing with my god-daughter on her first birthday. Needless to say, the wrapping paper is proving to be of more interest than what's inside.....:D

slsking, getting the spare room sorted, digging out airbeds from the attic, finding Peel posters ready to put up, tidying up, spliffing (oopsy), listening to ace tunes, making a shopping list, backing up some work files, replying to the odd email

very little in the way of actual work
