What do you keep in your ear?

I love earrings, but I never usually wear them unless I'm going out, not even little studs. I don't like sleeping in them. My ears have never healed over.

I assume those little hoops are called sleepers cos people tend to leave them in. Do you wear earrings/studs all the time?

I used to wear earrings all the time but nowadays I don't put them in if I'm not going outside, or if I'm going to be using headphones.

Just the one simple sleeper. It’s such a bugger to close that I don’t like taking it out.

I have a few punky studs, but I can’t sleep in them.

I always had difficulty sleeping in earrings, other than titanium rings, so for a few years when I had 3 sets of piercings I just permanently wore a variety of titanium rings.

Then I barely wore earrings at all for about 4 years while I had babies/toddlers and started wearing them again once I went back to work after my second maternity leave. Now I don't bother with them if I'm not going further than the supermarket, but I do feel a bit 'underdressed' if I go to work or out for the evening and forget to put a pair in.

Used to have big fuck off tunnels but took them out at some point. They shrunk in no time and I can't be asked with the process again. Shame, was proud of them.

Got my left ear pierced but not worn an earring for years, they stayed in all the time.

I don't wear them any more (both lobes are done twice) but when I did I used to sleep with studs in.

Helix bar and a ring through my upper lobe in one ear, tragus bar in the other, only take them out for the hairdressers.
Put dangly earrings or huge hoops in my lobes when I get dressed.

I don't sleep with earrings. Don't wear them most days but feel naked if I go out-out without them. I have multiple lobe piercings (can't remember if it's five or seven) but only use one of the extra ones occasionally nowadays.

You know you're getting on when you take your earrings out and put your earplugs in!

I sleep with earrings in but if I’ve had biggish ones in during the day I swap back to small ones. Other than that I’m way too tired to take my earrings out in the evening.

Got one small silver hoop I bought for pennies in a mountain village when I worked down in the southwest, had it in for well over twenty years.

I used to like wearing big dangly earrings but nowadays prefer gold studs. I always take them out when I go to bed.
