What are your political views and why?

Socialist? Anarchist? Liberal? Conservative?

What are your specific political views and why? What makes you think your view is the best, or is most likely to work? What/who has influenced you or convinced you?

Economic and moral conservative.

Why? I think it best fits the evidence of human experience. And it makes for good conversation over a few pints.

Authoritarian Socialist. Who believes the majority should rule.

Convinced by stupid liberal who called themselves socialist that the only hope was in majority rule and referendums not political elites and egotistical wankers who look down on ordinary people.

Gut socialist. Democrat. One who believes that unequal societies are dysfunctional and that personal acquisitiveness is neither the basis of civilisation nor of liberty.

personal aquisitiveness is human nature mate, so by your logic, we all exist in a void and thus we aren't actually real but are holograms from another dimension.

What would you replace a society based on personal aquisitieness then, Donna? A land where we all till the land for the common good and pretty much do everything for everyone else whilst paying no attention to our individual selves? Cos that's realistic isn't it.

for what it's worth,
I'm a Libertarian right winger, with some vague, occassional, bizarre, random left leaning tendencies.

Oh yeah, and socialists piss me off, in the same way as money grabbing, NIMBY daily mail readers piss me off. They need to GET OVER IT.

G O I

Don't be silly. Lots of human characteristics exist but aren't made the basis of human society and don't have enormosu claims made about them.

Ah, jolly good. Ask me what I think ,then tell me what I think, then laugh at something that only you have actually said.

Oooh, I think that justifies a few rolly-eyes of my own, does it not?

:D

i don't know why I even bothered trying to pre-empt your eye rolling, you are after all the Urban75 expert on the whole snidy, arrogant rolling eyes thing.

I concede, you win. You do rolling eyes better than me.

You're still a naive, idiosyncratic, left wing, middle class fuckface.

No offence.

Noticed you didn't correct my assertions. So what would you replace the status quo with? and don't say Queen or Genesis, it wont be clever.

No, if I were a liberal of any sort I would have taken the time to say so. But thank you for asking. We value your opinions and have filed them in a personalised wastepaper basket.

I'm an anarchist communist. I don't know if it'd work, but I hope so. Kropotkin, Chomsky, Murray Bookchin, Colin Ward, Anton Pannekoek and Emma Goldman are my biggest influences. And Marx.

who's we? are you The Queen? Always thought you were the type to have two birthdays. One at the country mansion and one in your chelsea bolt hole.

How is life in Spain anyway? getting jiggy with any of those sexy, alluring riot ripping anarchists yet? Shame you're not in England to enjoy all the lovely weather.

Now answer the question from my last post, bitch.

what the fuck is a Liberal Supremacist, Baldwin?

oh, happy birthday btw

1 A Liberal Supremacist is somebody who believes there nice and clever and that if only people would put their faith in clever nice people like them then everything would be all right.

2 Crikey..

It's political thought of that calibre which makes libertarianism what it is.

that's, like, really witty! Like, I can see what you did there, you made a whole point, in just one sentence, and I had to read between the lines to find it. Damn you're good. You must be doing a PhD or something. Man, I wish I had your intellect. I can only dream....

As it happens one of them does storytelling for kids in the shop. She also does it down the library, as, in English, do I: if we can recruit the other storyteller then we can form the Huesca Library Storytellers' Syndicate and Trade Union. I'll keep you posted.

I'm clever, but I'm not really nice.

Sounds lively, make sure you do.

Just keep up the whole "I'm in it for the people" line and you should be Rioja-ing away till dawn soon enough. Bravo that man.

There were 12 words in Donna's post, and 54 in your elephantine reply.

Donna's outlook seems to produce greater efficiency of output compared to yours.
