Ahh this reminds me of mum and toddler group I used to go to. There was this colour and a pale yellow as well.Although I don't have any for me it's the green Beryl west crockery. Always reminds me of a neighbour/bonus Gran from when I was little.

Whereas I hate big chunky cutlery. In fact, we have two sets of cutlery mingled together, one 'fat' and one 'thin' - Mr K likes the former, I like the latter, and we both grumble if given the wrong sorthere’s where I’m going to grumble about modern cutlery - too light, too small and not enough heft to them, especially forks

I had one of those plates. We found it in the kitchen cupboard when we moved into a flat. Kept a plant pot on it while we lived there until it had an ingrained circle of dirt on that wouldn't clean off, so we left it behind when we moved out.We had this set for years when I was growing up. My mum has one plate left and my brother and I used to fight over who got it. View attachment 407002
I had a knife just like the top one. Again, I think we found it when we moved into a flat. Had it for a while, but somehow the blade ended up all burntView attachment 406996

It reminds me of church hall crockery.
Before I moved hundreds of miles away, I had the unofficial job of looking out for sets of church hall crockery in local charity shops for the churches in my mum's (rural, not many charity shops) parishThat set says 'church hall' to me.
Not all! My mum has a ridiculous set of cutlery that's far too heavy and also really badly balanced, so it's impossible to clear the table without butter knives flying off in all directions. She got rid of loads of the previous set when she bought it, so now they're back on the old old set of stuff like those cream handled knives and her family's good silverware from a hundred years ago and bits of her old set that my brother and I had nicked over the preceding yearshere’s where I’m going to grumble about modern cutlery - too light, too small and not enough heft to them, especially forks
The ones I’m thinking of are butter knives
My grandma had these, I found them in my Dad's loft when he died. They may still be in my garage but I think they went to the charity shop.Although I don't have any for me it's the green Beryl west crockery. Always reminds me of a neighbour/bonus Gran from when I was little.

I guess it’s down to what you are used to and whether you have dainty hands or shovels.Whereas I hate big chunky cutlery. In fact, we have two sets of cutlery mingled together, one 'fat' and one 'thin' - Mr K likes the former, I like the latter, and we both grumble if given the wrong sort
Yeah I know some are. Would obviously never go out and buy them but it feels better to keep using them now since they can't be unmade. The top one and mine are ivory

My grandparents had one of them. It'd completely gone from my memory until I saw those pictures and suddenly I was in their front room againThose string and nail pictures from the 60s/70s - we had some in the family home when I was little, as I recall. Bought a couple recently:

Yes! I did not realise they could be descibed as "fake bone".
They’re great! I have about ten of them, they get used for butter spreading and they make great stirrers/spatulas for stirring small pans, for lifting stuck things off my baking tray, wouldn’t be without them.
I made one of these for my grandmother, quite similar to the one at the top! (Yes, in the 70s, feeling old now). Those string and nail pictures from the 60s/70s - we had some in the family home when I was little, as I recall. Bought a couple recently:
