'Vintage mundane'

I have some 60s/70s costume jewellery inherited from my Nan. Nothing valuable, but very dear to me.

I have a 60s coffee set and cutlery that belonged to my parents. Until last year we had the 80s microwave that had originally belonged to my step Nan. I still use the white Ikea plates I bought as part of a kitchen set when I left for Uni in 1994. Do they count as vintage yet?

Soup bowls that I think came from a garage?
My Ma had these - iirc she saved coupons from Knorr packet soups to get them

FFS, my grandma had the crockery posted by Saffy and the Biltons coffee mugs posted by iona.

Was there really so little choice in the 70s? It’s like everyone was shopping at GUM.
Which ones? I have stuff from the bottom four pics where I'm living now, plus a few other patterns, and my mum still uses the village scenes mugs top right.

It's interesting that I automatically think of the same things despite being younger than most people here <insert badly punctuated boomer facebook meme about how they built stuff to last back in The Good Old Days>

Either third down on the left or third down on the right - I think they are the same.

Think there's at least two different shape/size cups with the same pattern. I can't remember if I have more than one, but I definitely do for another of their patterns.

E2a looking more closely, the left mugs are taller. You can tell from how the pattern is very slightly different to those on the right.

Right, then. With saucers. If memories which are about 40 years old can be trusted.

I suspect that more than 50% of posters here had a Griffin savers sports bag. Post sad for yes, you had one, angry for no, you were never a Griffin saver and did not benefit from their generosity.

I’d quite like to have a pristine one now.

Edit: the poll is showing 66:33 against Griffin saver bag ownership, which is an enormous surprise. N=3.

Oh I think I know the ones. Fake "bone" handle.
They’re great! I have about ten of them, they get used for butter spreading and they make great stirrers/spatulas for stirring small pans, for lifting stuck things off my baking tray, wouldn’t be without them.
