Video: the death of Nottingham Victoria station

Sad to see such a big station lost forever

Theses are clips from a film taken to commemorate the closing of Nottingham Victoria station - originally opened in 1900 and finally closed in 1967. The film contains rare footage of the station prior to and during the demolition.

The GCML was originally designed as a high-speed line to Paris, but since that didn't work out it was all a bit pointless, as well they knew when it was being built.
