After this the broadcast was suspended - as usual we have no idea why, and are left watching the ucpinquiry equivalent of a test card.
It would be really helpful for the 'public' if there was a message of some kind on the screen indicating why it's suspended and advising how long the break might last.
You would think this would be relatively easy to do when the Inquiry is costing over £100 million.
We could suggest some simple, low-tech, and very inexpensive solutions - eg a hand written message on a piece of paper, placed in front of the camera.

In the overall scheme of things it's pretty insignificant, but on a personal note I'm still seething the prick managed to get his evidence scheduled for a week I had a family holiday booked. What a slimy bastard

So glad to hear that the gallery has been packed, with people from across the generations, those directly affected by his behaviour personally, and those whose lives he fucked around with at a managerial remove. Squirm, squirm, squirm...

Even better is how his week of evidence is shaping up to be a lightning rod for showing just how insidious the whole programme was, with the possibility at last of being able to tie in more of the taskers, the shapers, the policy-makers, the product-customers and the profiteers
