They don't have any choice do they? Aren't they just more or less stating that they comply with the 2010 Equality Act? They don't seem to be going any further than meeting the basic legal requirements.

It is, but it’s probably because in freemasonry once you have become a mason you are one for the rest of your life. I doubt this will ever be an issue though.
