Twin Town!

I liked it because I recognize half the people in it :D Loads of big issue sellers and general street layabouts that I used to hang out with when I was living in Swansea. They rounded them up as cheap extras, or just filmed them doing their usual thing.

clunk-click - every fuckin' trip

I lived in Swansea when it was released - multiplex was showing it about 12 times a day

If there's ever been a funnier, darker, Welsher or more quotable film than Twin Town, we definitely haven't seen it.

From the opening scene as a two-tone 525 files over the camera, to the dying moments (spoiler alert) as a male voice choir sings Myfanwy on a flood-lit Mumbles pier, it's a film that has classic written all over it.

So as a tribute to the whole Lewis family, Bryn Cartwright, Greyo, Terry, Dai Rees and the waiter down the Taj, we present our 22 reasons why Twin Town is the greatest Welsh cult film of all time.

But first, a word of warning to the uninitiated - there's a fair bit of swearing in Twin Town.

So while we try to be family-friendly at WalesOnline, there might be one or two starred-out swear words involved - our apologies if you're easily offended.
