Don't be daft - if you're nice to spiders they won't hurt you. I thought you'd realised that basic fact by now.

Face spiders are clearly what you need (and no doubt secretly want) to overcome your irrational fear of lovely spiders. Maybe start with plastic or rubber spiders on your face for a few weeks, gradually moving up to bigger real spiders. You'd soon be over your fear and love spiders like a normal.

I stripped out the cabinets from my old kitchen yesterday and had to evict a whole load of spiders ... only false widows and house spiders though - no sign of cellar spiders

I know you posted it as a cute photo but allowing tarantulas on your face is fucking stupid. They fall from much more a few inches and they're likely dead. Pissing around with their life for a photo op is divvy af.

The first photo, that's much more like it. Cupped hands, hovering just above a flat surface.

Baby spiders everywhere ...

The ones belaying across the front path are my fault ... a neighbour was getting all worried about a raft of baby orbs on a car tyre and was horrified when I scooped them up on my hand and put them in the hedge.
The ones in the bath are a worry - I can barely see them and it's quite a faff making sure I've got them all out before running the water ...
