Things to do near Haverfordwest

My phone won't let me upload the really rubbish picture of the view I just took, but big up Crispy and others for recommending the Druidstone. Suitably lovely and random.
It was founded by some old friends of my parents, both now passed on so their son runs it now. Really nice obituary of Jane Bell in the Indy: http://www.independent.co.uk/news/o...idstone-as-a-force-in-welsh-arts-8092779.html
want to try and stay or at least go there this year!
I'd get booking if I were you - it fills up very quickly.

Mrs and I said the same earlier.

Quite like the idea of hiring the whole place (possible apparently) for some kind of friends + kids + music + minor silliness weekender

But I suspect we aren't rich enough.

Will read that link, thanks Crispy

Have to say I am really taken with Pembrokeshire. Can see why people come down here to live, if this kind of thing appeals (it does)

Randomly, they had some name tags for tables on the desk at reception and one of them was 'Marshall Andrews'

I wondered about the MP name and then there it is in the obit

Off to Haverfordwest tomorrow, as I'm currently using (wasting) my annual leave before the 31st march or losing it. Normally we have a full family thing going on, but obviously as we only decided to go today, sister in law has no time off work neither do the nephews, so this thread has been helpful, not that they wouldn't be, but seems foolish to ask as we have been there twice a year since getting married there in 1999!!!!
