The Who - hope I die before I get old

the infamous tv performance where moon packed his drum kit with cherry bombs.

I remember rain, lasers, family? Sahb? And err.....someone.

I remember Alex Harvey, have I got years wrong ? No lasers or rain!
Definitely no rain.
Then again I saw SAHBabout four times around then.
ETA: Definitely 74.

Yeah, fair play to them - full of musical references to old songs

Edited to say - I reckon that's as good as anything they've done since the 70s

i saw the Who in 1989 and I thought they were past it then. Towshend had to play in a plastic cube thing to protect him from the noise, or something weird. And he couldn't play the complicated solos, I guess because he couldn't hear himself, so they has a young session musician playing those bits. And of course Moon was still dead and Jones had left so it was barely the Who in my opinion. But it was an enjoyable noise, just round the corner from where I lived in Wembley.

You know, this isn't that bad. Sounds like something from The Who by Numbers and Daltrey's voice sounds better than I expected.

It's alright but it just sounds like a lot of their stuff before it. The fans will like it which is just as important as anything.

I can believe it’s the sort of thing someone would say but comes across differently when written down. I was out last night. I wouldn’t like to see some of the things I might have said written down and taken out of context.

He’s probably a dick though. As well as probably a paedo.
