Try searching banana   :D
> Search Banana

You peel the banana and find about 15cm of banana flesh. You now have a peeled banana and a banana peel.

> Drop Banana Peel

You drop the banana peel on the floor.

> Wait

You wait. You hear footsteps approaching from the West.

> Hide East

You hide. The footsteps draw nearer, nearer, nearer, until... Sclitch! Thud! You have tripped someone up!

A-ha! When you edit a page there's a rename page option at the bottom - so I guess you can rename it and then edit the main page to retrieve the link.

Too late now - I did a beeboo and made a second page and now I feel stupid 'cos they both come up on the "fish" search recommended on the main page  so everyone can see what I did.

what is "doing a beeboo"  :p

I think it was supposed to be doing a biddly. Search for banana :)

O_O LOOK AT MY POST COUNT WOOOOOOH!

EDIT: You missed it now.

That's alright then ;)
Phew!!

Solution to multitudinous page embarrassments:

think of new recipe
find extraneous page and click edit
click "rename" at the bottom of the edit page
Put in new recipe name (using_underscores_like_this)
replace old text with new recipe
add [[the recipe name without underscores]] link to the main page

ymu - smoked mackerel and peach, what are you on?!? :D

Actually it sounds interesting - I like savoury/sweet combos.

It is really lush - try it. My favourite sandwich - invented when the fridge was a bit empty and the fruit bowl a bit elderly. :D

Necessity is the mother of invention and that :)

I'm def. going to try it.

:D :D

Link your extraneous pages here - then other people can use them. If the link no longer works, someone's already adopted it. :)

OK - I bought smoked mackerel and peaches on the way home.

Unfortunately the peaches are like cricket balls

*drums fingers and stares at fruit bowl impatiently*

Blues has an addition to One Pan Lazy Rice! I thought I'd covered every conceivable base with that one ...

<waits for addition to appear>

I made the Melanzane Parmigiana last night...mmm! yum!
Isn't it just? I will be forever indebted to the good lady moose for that recipe, although I have to say I never bother doing owt with the aubergine bar slicing it and layering - still works very well as an easy and tasty dish

I'm just about to heat up the leftovers!

*tummy rumbles*

Next time I might try it without pre-cooking the aubergine, although I've had bad experiences before with rubbery aubergine when I've bunged it straight in the oven. This was all melty and wonderful! :)

Kinell, every time I look at this it's changed..there's more categories than anyone could hope for! Again, nice one Crispy :D

If you slice the aubergine thinly, about 2mm, it doesn't turn out rubbery, just has a bit of texture, the sort you can cut with a spoon with little effort (tried and tested :D ). I find the tom n basil sauce turns into a lovely thin sauce which is ace poured over pasta RARR :D

I've been holding back on posting up recipes, because apart from some of my soups and the boyfriend's melanzane alla parmigiana (nearly identical to the one on the wiki), all of mine come from a cookbook.

However, I've done some research and it seems that unless you're posting extensive text copied verbatim from a cookbook, or a a recipe for a meticulously concocted signature dish, recipes are not patentable, nor are ingredient lists.

So, when I have more time I'll post some up.

But you will have altered a couple of things, items, method, so it won't be a pure lift eh?

Most of my recipes are marginally adapted from cookbooks, and I think one of them I just copied directly from the BBC website. They're tried and tested tho' :)
