Oh, he still gets washed down when he's been paddling in clarts ... but the clarts don't include cow pat as a key ingredient.Yeah, I’ve started to use the hose but, admittedly, only if it’s not bitterly cold. it Hasn’t yet made any difference.
But I guess I’m only ever using it as a cleaning him off thing, not as a punishment for rolling in shit.
Point to note : cats don't do this... ever
I had to look up ‘clarts’Oh, he still gets washed down when he's been paddling in clarts ... but the clarts don't include cow pat as a key ingredient.
As he'd got older, he's done it far less often than when he was less than a couple of years old. [he wasn't rescued until he was nearly a year old]
Sorry !I had to look up ‘clarts’
Vet bills are ridiculous if they get ill and need medicine, and are obscene if they need an operation - one of mine needed a fatty lump removing as there was a chance it could be cancerous, and that cost over £600 - but once they've had their initial jabs as puppies and the odd booster they don't cost much. Mine have repaid me a million times over with the joy they've given me.Who has there dogs in day care and how much does it cost?
I love animals, but was always wary about a dog, due to the care they need. My partner really wanted one and she could take it work. 3 years in and she's getting a different job and this is not an option. I'm seeing prices around £20 a day which would be about £400 a month. Cost of owning pets I guess, but I'm going to really struggle with this one.

I do, but only 2-3 days a week. It's not cheap no, but my working day is 12 hours so it wouldn't be fair on Cara. That said, I was at work today and she stayed at home, but I was also at home until 11.30 emailing/phoning/taking cara for a long walk , then kiddo back from school around 4, I popped back about 4.30 for an hours company and another walk. Then home for good just after 8. It's doable if either of you can pop back.Who has there dogs in day care and how much does it cost?

Day care for £20 sounds reasonable, the one I know in Brixton is £35 for 9 to 5 (they will collect and return the dog to yours if it is outside the hours you can drop/collect)
The day care in Essex we are currently sending the pup to is £25 from 7:30 to 6pm (used a couple of days a week to give the convalescing older dog and his humans some respite)
how much would a 1 hour dog walk cost?
Talk to this guy…My phone just reminded me of this photo (Your memories) from a couple of years ago. It would have been so much better if it didn’t look like he was wearing a bollard as a saddle.
