Immense. Maybe not as catchy as even their similarly-doomy stuff. Maybe. But it's a monumental thing. Repeated listens - and there WILL be those - will inevitably reveal more. I feel overwhelmed.

Like I read one fan has said, "I've waited so long for this album, and I'm just as sad as I hoped I would be."

My youngest (what is in an up & coming punk band) rang the BBC R6 producer who has got them a half hour live slot to ask about timings etc, last week. Guy said he'd love to speak to them but was at that very moment recording the Cure. Lad was told.

I mean I already knew I loved Alone and would love the mighty Endsong but All I Ever Am is brilliant. Will need a few listens to Drone:Nodrone but everything else is 8.5 or 9 out of 10 I think
