I wasn't sure if the vast majority of Alien films could be described as horror films, so didn't include the scamp
They are horror/sci-fi genre hybrids, very much in the Lovecraftian vein.I wasn't sure if the vast majority of Alien films could be described as horror films, so didn't include the scamp
quite possibly the scariest film ive seenPerhaps "best" doesn't quite fit, but the fella in Wolf Creek was terrifying.
Saw a trailer for a new Candyman film that Jordan Peele is involved in. Could be good methinks/hopes.Candyman, because he’s such an interesting character with his backstory and cos I will still never look in the mirror and say Candyman five times, else a fictional supernatural entity will disembowel me
Is that Pete from The League?
Third film is in the worksIt's Josef/Aaron from Creep (the 2014 film)
Aye, looking forward to seeing that. Have you read the original story, The Forbidden, by Clive Barker? Different backstory and set in a Liverpool council estate. The whole set of Books Of Blood, the collection the story is part of, is excellent, and some have been adapted as films but Candyman is the only one worth a watch. Would love to see an adaptation of In The Hills, The Cities, which is the best story in the collection but they’d probably sanitise it and fuck it upSaw a trailer for a new version of Candyman that Jordan Peele is involved in. Yeah I was a bit of a Clive Barker fan back in the day so the film version of Candyman confused me somewhat!Aye, looking forward to seeing that. Bonfire night is so central to the story, so setting it in Chicago was a bit odd.Yeah I was a bit of a Clive Barker fan back in the day so the film version of Candyman confused me somewhat!
wasn't aware of that. Big fan of Curry - he's very good value on Twitter - doesn't suffer fools gladly, but is funny with it. He had a stroke a while back and now uses a wheelchair, but he's still working and snarling at nobheads onlineSadly not in a film but a tv series.
Tim Curry as Billy Flynn, the Prince of Darkness in Criminal minds.

You’ve already had one. Although maybe her in Alien isn’t exactly a ‘lady’
