not the only raver in the village
Lots of trees down near me. Sadly my chainsaw is just a weedy mains powered one. If I had a petrol one I'd get enough wood for a couple of years
Thank you for your service. #NotAllHeroesWearCapesOne of the bins at the petrol garage at wrk had been upended and was halfway across the forecourt. I set it back to its rightful position.
Hazy recollections of nights out there, but isn't that just the usual Saturday night carnage in Cardiff?ScenesView attachment 454229 in central Cardiff early morning
Yes! but a bit less blowy, a few more bins down than usualHazy recollections of nights out there, but isn't that just the usual Saturday night carnage in Cardiff?
Our bin lid had blown open and the inside was slightly wet.Oh yeah I forgot I righted a bin and relocated it so it would not blow over again during my lunch break.
Thoughts and prayers. Our bin lid had blown open and the inside was slightly wet.

No, it's fine. I don't want any thanks.
electricity off for 18 hours from about 12 Saturday to 6 am. Lit the rayburn so I could cook and so it was nice and warm in the kitchen, phone and speaker so I had something to listen to, and wind-up lantern which was surprisingly good plus head torch for when I actually wanted to see.
No landline so had to assume the line was being repaired (it was, poor sods out there all night doing repairs), wasn't totally sure it wasn't just my line that was down.
I bought cake today and thank you empathisersThe market's been cancelled. Damn. I was going to get CAKE
