Whoever leads the Conservative Party - Liz Truss or Rishi Sunak - both have promised to carry on with the barbaric plan to deport refugees to a concentration camp in Rwanda. The first planned deportation flight was stopped on 14 June under pressure of legal challenges and mass protest. The legal challenge to determine whether the Tories' Rwanda policy is lawful, led by Care4Calais and the PCS union, will be back in court on Monday 5 September, the first day in a five day hearing. A major protest outside the Royal Courts of Justice will go ahead on the day, called by the TUC, Care4Calais and Stand Up To Racism. Demonstrations are happening all over the UK on Saturday 3rd and Monday 5th September.
