songs which are factually inaccurate

I think you'll find you're mistaken.
Are you saying that Houston did not sing in that way? Cos she did. Khan rarely did/does it cos she trusts in her voice being good enough to not be unnecessarily embellished with trills to ‘prove’ her singing ability.
I love Houston’s early stuff and she is probably a better singer than Khan. But it’s not all about talent but what you choose to do with that talent. Khan has done better in that regard

which has, ultimately, been disproven by the research of voivonovich, ramstein, and ramachandran.
so again, what is the agenda motivating the attempt to assert that which is known to be unreal?
'Ramstein'?

When properly spelt, weren't they (not he or she!! ;) ) more interested in creating fire-storms and light-spectaculars in their shows?? :hmm: :p

As well as playing music very ;loudly with lots of big guitar solos? ;)

"You're going home in a fucking ambulance" - a classic misunderstanding here, ambulances actually just take people to hospital, an ambulance driver who just dropped an injured patient off at their home would be grossly neglecting their duties.

They take you home sometimes

It was only last week that we first met / When I was walking down the street / You came up from behind me and I knew / That our eyes were gonna meet

How exactly does this work? How did you know he was there? Did he overtake you and whirl round? It doesn't sound a very promising beginning.

yeh that's a classic misunderstanding of ambulances. ambulances do not just take people to hospital. some ambulances, notably st john's ones, do take people - albeit not injured, or at least without having had treatment - home

note the last one.

And, of course ‘private ambulance’ is often a euphemism for a big van that collects your body and takes it to the undertaker's big freezer or hospital mortuary….

I, for one, did not go to the yard. Furthermore, none of the boys I knew attended the milk-shake there, and while that may be deeply unfortunate, the fact remains that all the boys were definitely not brought to the yard, where the milk-shake occurred.

In other news, Freddie Mercury was not a particularly keen cyclist.
