So - nobody admitting to watching Britain's Got Talent?

you didn't see the fat dude duetting with himself then?

it was fairly dull other than him, tbf. only so many dance-school shithead kids i can cope with of an evening...

I loathe, hate and detest BGT with every fibre of my being - cheapest of cheap tv, ritual humiliation and the audience lowing like cattle...don't any of them know that these people they've rejected have to go back to work and school tomorrow? Makes me cringe.

I've had to watch hours of it as the neph and niece love it. The Harry Hill impersonator wasn't too bad - the rest were infinitely forgettable or indescribably awful. Hate it.

As far as I'm concerned, they're all after their 15 minutes of fame and if that means going on to a crap programme, so be it.

I don't think this show is ritual humiliation at ALL!!

In fact, if anything, the audience are too fucking kind - I would have had the shepherd's staff round the neck of several of tonight's acts - and indeed all week there have been some stinkers who were allowed to finish their three minutes in a very generous way.

I see that the audience is VERY much on their side, and clearly clapping and willing them along even when, as with tonight's "singer-songwriter" chap, the act got all the right notes, just not necessarily in the right order!

:D

Given, it's a bit better at this stage, but auditions are just painful on every level. There's some very special or very delusional people out there...

Jeez, I know the Americans called Spellbound "pasty Brits", and they wanted to tan up, but fucking hell :D

Yeah yeah, I know it's only make-up :D

I think I'm a teeny weeny bit in love with Christopher Stone.

Having said that, Spellbound will win. They were amazing!

I put it on tonight for about 10 minutes but had to turn it off again as soon as bloody Piers Morgan came on. Even if I liked variety type entertainment him and Amanda Holden make it unwatchable for me.

Twist and Pulse for me. Kids who've obviously had no training, clearly enjoying themselves and genuinely making me smile. Love 'em.
