I only have three:

Deutsch Mit Schmidt. Very short episodes that are just about two words per episode in advanced German. The host is excellent and makes it more fun than my description makes it sound, and I've learned loads.

Ladies Who London. Podcast about London history. One of the hosts was annoying enough that I stopped for a while (she kept getting facts wrong, explaining extremely basic stuff, and mispronounced loads of words in an annoying way) but she's left now.

The History of English podcast by Kevin Stroud. About the language, not the people.
The history of english podcast is a big thumbs up, I thought all podcasts were twats in a group laughing too much and having a round circle about something I should and could read for myself.
But the ones that are basically lectures/lessons/talks for free are great.

Yep. Bug thumbs down for bantz podcasts..

Thumbs up for history lectures. If you can cope with Dan Snow, History Hit is generally good , though lightweight

Bantz-casts: There’s a podcast by Lee Mack and a pal that I think ska invita alerted me to. It’s called I Can’t Believe It’s Not Buddha. It’s basically Lee Mack interrupting his mate, taking the piss out of him, and “misunderstanding” phrases or words for comedic effect. God it’s tiring. I gave up quickly on that one.

That Classical Podcast can be a bit bantz-casty. It’s wound up now, and I much prefer Sticky Notes. Far more informative and informed.

Not vouching for all of these - there's a few I haven't got around to listening to yet. What's Up Weirdo is my favourite though.

I don't consider In Our Time to be a podcast as it is played over the radio. It only becomes a podcast if you hear the bit where they've gone off air and are ordering post show refreshments and offering a few last observations on the topic

Just listening my way through Ghost Stories For The End Of The World.
Pinch of salt time for some of it, but first ten episodes at least well researched, relatively balanced look at parapolitical/espionage/organised crime key events and topics in the manner of golden era (80s-90s) Lobster in the Dorril & Ramsay era:

I need a new funny podcast. I belatedly discovered Wheel of Misfortune and have loved it until Fern Brady was replaced by Kerry Katona and now it’s ruined for me because she’s not funny.

I’m giving Welcome to the neighbourhood a go tonight. It’s about community Facebook groups/message boards. Plenty of material so we’ll see.

Katona’s laugh is so horrible. I know she can’t help it but it’s like nails down a blackboard for me.
I like Welcome To The Neighbourhood - Jayde Adams is awesome and it’s nice and short

Same for WOM.

Have you done my dad wrote a porno? Or all killa, no filla? It's true crime but kiri and Rachel are comedians and the banter is good. Not dissimilar to WOM. Welcome to nightvale? Alexei sayles' imaginary sandwich shop?

I just binge listened a totally bizarre pod called Who shat on the Floor at our wedding? Not the funniest thing I ever listened to but entertaining.
I like mostly true crime podcasts and ones about scams and the like -
With Love Janessa - which was about a models image and videos being used to extort money from men, globally, apparently her content was the most used of all, many twists and turns to the tale, it was totally gripping. Despite having hundreds of thousands extorted from them and realising they'd been scammed, one man still believed they were in love with her
Behind The Bastards - just started that one with a takedown on Stockton Rush, I'll keep following it.
ADHD Adults - absolutely brilliant - thanks Orang Utan for that one.
My therapist ghosted me - two Irish girls - one a comedian, single and boozy a bit chaotic, the other an influencer, married to another influencer with 3 kids and a dream lifestyle in London, sounds cheesy, shit and the sort of thing that wouldn''t interest me at all, but it's brilliant, they're so crude and funny they rip the piss out of each other constantly, no wonder it's popular.
Spellcaster - about Sam Bankman freid.
Spycops
Sad Oligarch -not started this yet but it's about the pitfalls, poisonings and demise of various oligarchs since the Ukraine invasion.
Wardrobe Crisis (sustainable fashion podcast)
Scam Fluencers - loved this one and binged the entire series over the space of a week. I think it actually saved me from a real scammer the other week!
Diss and Tell
American Scandal - current season is about Oxycontin, previous season was about the kids for cash scandal where judges were paid bribes for sending kids into private detention centres.
The Missing - about missing people that have never been found.
Changes With Annie Mac, because she interviews some interesting people.
Currently listening to Can I tell You a Secret, which is about a shithead Facebook stalker who gets joy out of doxing and then ruining strangers lives.

Just the usual - Radio War Nerd, and Truanon. Occasionally Chapo Trap House, but that one's glory days are behind it.

I tried Red Scare again for the first time in ages the other day, but it was still unlistenable rubbish.

Was just collating and thought I might as well drop them here - a mix of anarchist podcasts recommended by Reddit plus an old list I did (essentially archive). I've broken it up primarily by accent (because tbh I get bored of Yanks talking about the US) but as you might imagine a lot of them are fairly internationalist.

Australia:
Anarchist World This Week | 3CR Community Radio

UK:
Acid Horizon: Heavier theory focus
Anarchist Essays | ARG (international focus), essays read aloud.
Working Class History: (USA/UK) stories about major historical events worldwide
Dissident Island Radio: (archived?) regular show about what's happening in British activism
Anarchism In The UK: (archived) Ian Bone's series of interviews with leading London activists in the 2000s
The Circled A: (archived) Theory, history and interviews
Interviews With The Freedom Press Anarchists: (archived) Tony Gibson talking to people like Colin Ward, Rita Milton and Philip Sansom in 1994

USA:
Anews podcast: Newsy
It could happen here: Crisis talk
Cool People Who Did Cool Stuff Podcast: History, obviously
Everyday Anarchism: History and theory, mostly around mutual aid
It's Going Down: Newsy
Live Like the World is Dying
Non Serviam Media: Discussion on anarchist concepts
srsly wrong: Utopianism with jokes
The Final Straw Radio Podcast: Newsy, interviews and longer features

International:
Audible Anarchism: Books read aloud
Immediatism Podcast: Primarily books read aloud
radio4all.net: Mix of stuff from a-infos

Came across this last night, quality seems really high, class-centred political chat, coming from Belfast but of interest to anyone in Ireland and Britain .Hosted by someone called Stiofán Ó Nualláin
Good zip along energy to his conversational style

120. I Predict A Riot by Trademark Belfast
The most recent episode on the pogroms is very good

Trademark Belfast

By A Worker's Guide To Everything

A Podcast from the anti-sectarian unit of the Irish Labour Movement based in Belfast focusing on political economy and solidarity economy

If anyone knows more about the outfit Id be interested to hear - seem sound (non campist/stalinist!)

I came across it via this youtube channel which is modest (just 4 episodes so far, about 100 views each) but good too The Working Class Climate Alliance

Mine are all frivolous and shallow.
I use them to go to sleep so they can’t be too interesting and I need to be ok with hopefully missing half of them.

Currently I’m just listening to Help… and MTGM.

I was following Luanna but Luisa Zissman is a right wing, obscenely privileged, vacuous twat. I was finding myself getting angry before bed so now I just follow their insta for the funny listener stories which was the best bit.

Came across this good british civil war resource, lots of different podcast bits on here:
