I was there in the last couple of weeks. During the England/Germany game. It was deserted. But still tacky as hell. We felt we had to go, though.

It was bought in 1996 by Heritage Attractions Limited who now own other landmark sites around the UK including; John O'Groats, The Needles Park on the Isle of Wight, Snowdon Mountain Railway and Lightwater Valley Theme Park. From what I can gather it was sold to someone called Graham Ferguson Lacey or summat.
I know it was sold to a welsh bloke called Goldstone who sold it to De Peter Savary (who also bought John O Groats) I don't know if this Lacey bloke still owns it though.
My thoughts too.what a fitting name.
Anyway, I think we can all agree that the Cornish and other South Westerners shouldn't be left to shoulder this financial burden. That yes, the Water Companies shouldn't be privatised. But that this doesn't mean the residents of the South West should be abandoned.
Yes, and that will be a reality by 2020 at the latest. We'll see who's coastline it is when Tidal Power Generation kicks in and starts providing a hefty chunk of the UK's energy requirements.
