not convinced by the baby's latest toy

Interesting. A ball and poo pit litter tray. I suppose what you save on the cost of litter you end up you end up paying out cleaning the balls

she loves demolishing sticks after you've thrown them for her
also loves fighting for it a bit too

I'dbe careful throwing sticks for her. I've had heard of dogs running to catch a stick and effectively spearing themselves. A friend's lurcher was very poorly when a stick punctured his lung. I'd stick to throwing balls.

i try and throw them nearish as she tends not to see if far away and also either big branches that she can carry or smaller sticks
sometimes i just hold them aloft so she can jump up and get it then carry it around for a bit and demolish or leave somewhere.
ball would be better, kept forgetting it when going walkies! :D

Yeah, I heard a vet on the radio couple years back talking about stick-related injuries. Hadn't thought about it, but makes sense.

Those plastic stick things you can fling a tennis ball from are ace!

That koala is well baked on eucalyptus

Evidently they are vicious little buggers when they are awake. Maybe the euc does that to them! :)

Great pictures CRI

AMAZING pics. You've got a great camera and a good eye, too.

Thanks both - got a new camera for the birthday and it's good for stuff like this (not quite so good for macro shots, so probably still use old one for the piggies.) Animals are just, just amazing.

Rolo the Sprocker came for a "sleepover" yesterday while his humans ran the marathon. He didn't start off on the right paw with Breeze, bounding into her room while she was in the window. Her response was to do a "halloween cat" pose (becoming seemingly twice her size!) and hissed at him. After about 10 minutes planning her strategy, she re-emerged and spent the rest of his visit here intimidating him - not raising a paw mind, but with continuous withering looks. Poor Rolo!

(Rolo's harmless, and a bit clueless, but I must say I was quite proud of Breeze for not getting too flustered and standing up to him! #hardcat) :)
