Self-indulgent pet thread

Yes, he is but he does currently look like a rat (he has a particularly ratty tail). He'll be a beautiful sleek boy when he's older - he has a tummy like a song thrush
Oooh, lovely photos. They have such "attitude!" :)

I think animals can change alot when they grow up. Pig wise, some of the ones that started out as rather scruffy looking babies grew up to be gorgeous! Although Griff's an oddity - v cute bub and still looks like a teddy bear. He was exactly 3 weeks in this one.

Could be worse, one of mine steals half the bed and lies across the bed along the pillow line :D

Mine will take up most of the bed, and when we get her to move out of the way so we can get in, she then lies across the top of my head like a furry wig. Fine in the winter but boiling hot in summer :D

My fella will only sleep on the bed when I'm not in it. He won't sit on my lap and never has. I'm trying to work out what his use is and why I keep him. Like I said: he's a contrary little pest.

My cats wouldn't sit on our laps apart from the really needy one and she's just annoying. ; )

Get dogs, you can't get them off your bloody lap/sofa/bed/exact place you need to stand in the kitchen.

What's stopping you? :)
lack of space ( i assume they need a fair bit?), and living in London. they always strike me as a country dog. The greyhound suits us perfectly as they are so lazy. Also Mr T is somewhat resistant to having another dog, and the campaign so far has been about getting a whippet to keep the greyhound company. suggesting a deerhound at this stage might be a conceptual leap too far for him...

Deerhounds are really quite lazy :)

^^^Pretty cat^^^

I bought my boy Stanley a very nice cat-bed and a luxury thick fleece blanket. What does he kip in? That's right, a cardboard shoe-box. Contrary little pest.
I gave up and have the cat bed away... He now has a cardboard box in the living room, one in the attic and one in our bedroom that has the sort of really rough blanket removers use to protect furniture on it. He loves them all :rolleyes::confused:
