Self-indulgent pet thread

You're always welcome :)

They are both purring like crazy

They're just delightful. I didn't want to have to deal with "kittenhood" so wanted an older kitty, but I am kind of envious of all the funny and silly things you and the foal will be part of with these two cuties!

Breeze had a stare down with the ginger and white fluffy tailed cat that comes to crap in our garden - and won handsdown! She was quite proud of herself!

Being a bit too "dog like" and trying to dig under the fence.

Who goes there in the neighbour's garden? *hard stare*

Intruder kitty retreats with barely a whimper.

Smug face of the victor!

Relaxing after the triumph.

You're only seeing the fun side. Not the puddle of wee on my handbag this morning, the wee on the sofa, the poo under the other sofa, the chewed wires, the fact that they need feeding every 4 hours :D

I did want an older kitty but with the foal it's better to have kittens - older cats find him terrifying - these are too little to know any different! Your cat is beautiful! How does she get on with the pigs?

Yep, thanks for the reminder of why I didn't want a kitten (having said that, it took about a week to sort out the litter box arrangements to her liking with two doormats as casualties.)

Speaking of strange toileting habits, when she has a pee, she races out of the litter box and around the flat, sort of doing a victory lap, very excited. I guess it's important to have pride in your achievements :) Anyone else's cat do that?

Pig wise, I don't trust her with them, so "pets on the bed" time is strictly supervised and unless we're here, she stays on one side of the house and they on the other, although I know she couldn't get into their cage. They don't seem particularly bothered by her, which isn't necessarily a good thing. She pushes her front paws through the cage bars though and Malcolm rushes up to get her to rub his head which is funny. Her paws are too fat for her to do anything other than rub when she does get them in though!

I decided to catch up on some paperwork, and since most of my "important stuff - delayed for a later time" is in an old shoe box, I put it on my table and turned away for only a few seconds, and *this* is what I came back to

I then had to move the box (with Pilau in it) where he is currently still fast asleep!

My two quite often bolt in terror after doing a shit  Well, the boy not so much anymore :(

My dog does that when she's pooped. Bless her. :D
