We went to the nearest shop to us taking part which is in Henley. Got there at 10.30pm, half an hour after opening, and everything Mr. QofG's wanted had sold out He did get a Two Tone record (all of the singles, A sides only he says!) but not any of the exclusive Record Store day records!

I can't believe the nearest store taking part to you was in Henley!

I got the Rekords Rekords record, the special RSD edition of Screamadelica and Dear Catastrophe Waitress by Belle and Sebastian on heavy vinyl. mmmmm vinyl. Loving the Rekords Rekords record, side A is Alain Johannes' tribute to his late wife Natasha Shneider, who is singing on the second track, Desert Sessions' Nenada. Gorgeous tribute to Natasha, lovely touch

Yeah thats the place! just its called bar vinyl now. I'm not sure if its being run by the same people or not.

It would be odd, as their webstore accounted for most of their trade, at least until recently. May be redesigning I suppose? It was a fairly dated interface...

I didnt even know record store day existed.

Ima gonna have to learn a bit more about records..... My uncle has given me a shitload to get me started..... Seems to be some decent stuff in there too.
