Sat having my lunch and a hundred or so school kids have marched into the Oracle shopping centre carrying what appear to be banners about climate change.

To defend Chilango a little, the Oracle was built to take over from the Broad Street Mall as Reading's main retail centre. I think the BSM is still there, although a little separate from the larger Oracle and the High Street.

unprecedented numbers from our young un's in Barnstaple on Friday - v encouraging

( one of my youngest's more wannabee roadman associates was in a Balaclava and trying to get other kids to storm the council offices en route - they ended up chanting 'David Attenborough' on repeat instead apparently )

I like the Harris Arcade, near the station, for the sole reason that it's got quite a good second hand record shop there.
